Admission Process
Step 1: Students must fill the application form for studying medicine in China along with the necessary attested documents as specified.
Step 2: Then they must pay application fees, admission fees and the processing fees. Students must make advance payment for the application fees and the admission fees but the processing fees can be either sent to China or India whichever is earlier.
Step 3: All the applicants will receive the official photocopy of the admission letter issued by the university after payment of fees within a time span of seven to ten working days.
Step 4: The candidates should send the documents for processing to the Ministry of Education in China once the letter is received.
Step 5: The complete process of receiving the admission letter and the issuance of the Chinese visa requires about 30 days.
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria to study MBBS at Southern Medical University is as follows:
1.The age of the applicant must be within 17 years and 30 years.
2.Students must have completed their 12th standard or any equivalent education with minimum 70% aggregate marks.
3.Students must have taken Physics, Biology, and Chemistry as the main subjects at the 10+2 level.
4.The applicant must have a strong academic background.
5.The student must have proficiency in English language.
6.The student must be in good physical and mental health condition
